Kirby spread from Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers #6 (Pacific Comics, 1982)

PK let me borrow this comic he found at a 50 cent yard sale. Pacific Comics published Captain Victory as a creator-owned title and was apparently the first company to offer Kirby royalty payments according to sales figures. 

This issue’s a demented Earth invasion mess of insectoid Aztec armor, confusing space machinery and disintegrating aliens. There’s even a spaceship called the “Super-Dracula” that digests and absorbs hurricanes of living energy (“—and INSIDE this thing, its operator feels THE TERRIBLE ASSAULT OF LIFE!!!”). Intense. I just read this cover to cover and my head feels like it’s gonna explode. Great find, sir.
